ENVR E-150: Life Cycle and Risk Assessment

Students are not required to purchase a textbook for the course. The course material fee will provide copies of articles, and will also provide each participant with a working copy of professional life cycle assessment software. Use of the software greatly facilitates learning of the methods of life cycle assessment; it also enables students to complete a full-fledged LCA as their term project. The textbook for the Risk Assessment portion of the course, A. Wallace Hayes, ed., 2000: Principles and methods of Toxicology, 4th edition, Taylor and Francis: 5 copies of the full text made available in the Harvard libraries, for use by class participants. They will also be available for purchase at the Harvard Coop in Harvard Square.
